Advent Ring

Advent Ring is Based on the Swedish tune "Haf Trones Lampa Fardig" a familiar melody often used with the hymn "Rejoice, Rejoice, Believers" The sub-title "Our Hope and Expectation" is taken from the beginning of the fourth verse of this hymn. This straight-forward arrangement presents the theme with variation several times and sets off the final presentation with a key change. Though written for liturgical use, this can be used in any concert setting.
